Lifes a Beach
Racing down to the waters edge, half naked and blinded by the sun, a stripped back scene is set against an infinite horizon. Life is played out in its many forms and I'm reminded of the renaissance paintings of the Dutchman, Pieter Bruegel The Elder. His ability to record people in the landscape, while undergoing a multitude of tasks in the atmospherics of the light and coastal environment. Some where in there is a rescue happening, a child caught in a rip. A portly couple stare out to sea. A horse ride and some fishermen. A photographer takes a photograph at the same time being photographed by this photographer.
